There were two American Indian students enrolled in Catahoula Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Catahoula Parish School District welcomed 1,027 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

Catahoula Parish School District roughly covers schools within Catahoula Parish and has a main office in Harrisonburg.

Among the six schools in Catahoula Parish School District, Block High School and Jonesville Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
