Louisiana receives $15.7 million in hurricane relief and emergency preparedness funds

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive $15,670,984.03 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hurricanes Laura and Ida relief and emergency preparedness.

"Preparing for future storms is always top of mind, but especially as hurricane season approaches," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will restore our communities and ensure they are more resilient moving forward."
