Louisiana receives $12.6 million for hurricane and severe weather relief

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive $12,622,006.18 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for relief efforts related to Hurricanes Laura and Ida, as well as other severe weather events.

"Severe weather is a part of life in Louisiana, but our communities are resilient through it all," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will help our state rebuild from past weather events and prepare for future storms."
